BioSamson YeePICTURE EDITOR / PHOTOGRAPHEREditorial photographer, freelance for five years in Ethiopia, Denmark and around Asia, I began working as a Picture editor at a Tokyo based International News Magazine, COURRiER Japon in 2008, a monthly editorial magazine, circulation 60,000, a sister magazine to Courrier International in France where we pick up articles from newspapers and magazines from around the world, and translate them into Japanese. Part of Kodansha, one of Japan’s biggest publishers. Since our magazine run reprints from some of the best magazines in the world, there is plenty of opportunities to work with photographers, illustrators working for the major media outlets, namely The New York Times, Time Magazine, Fortune, The Economist, as well as National newspapers from around the world. I was born in Hong Kong, British by Nationality. As a Picture editor, I also took part in the THIS DAY OF CHANGE project involving 132 photojournalists around the world.
